During the time of COVID-19, I have earned how to disinfect my house properly. I’ve always just cleaned and thought that I did a good job. Well, times have changed.

To properly disinfect your house to kill most germs and viruses like COVID-19, you need to use harsh chemicals. I am all about that nontoxic, natural life and I did not want to use bleach like chemicals to clean my house. So, I went on another mission to find a clean, nontoxic disinfecting alternative as effective as bleach. Enter: Force of Nature.

Force of Nature is an EPA registered disinfectant that kills viruses, even COVID-19, and it can be used in hospitals and schools. I know!!! Here is how it works. Force of Nature uses salt, vinegar, water, and electricity to make electrolyzed water. This electrolyzed water has hypochlorous acid (your immune system also makes this acid to kill germs) and sodium hydroxide (a safe cleaning agent).

Bonus, it is kid and pet friendly and has no toxic chemicals or irritants. It is as effective as harsh chemical laded cleaners such as bleach for your toilets, Formula 409 on grease, Windex on glass, Scrubbing Bubbles on soap scums, Resolve on rugs, and even Febreze on odors. It eliminates odors, grease, grime, soap scum and sticky, icky messes as effectively as bleach. The best part: it cleans just about all of the surfaces – sealed stone, porcelain, glass, stainless steel, wood, laminate, grout, tile, plastic, and rubber. It disinfects just about everything, even your toddler’s toys without having to breathe in harmful chemicals.

Since it is a mixture of vinegar and salt, it smells like a little like a pool, but not for long and not in a bad way. It makes my house smell so fresh and clean. Lastly, it keeps toxic chemicals from being dumped into water systems and it reduces plastic wast.

The solution lasts up to two weeks. I spray my bottle on just about everything from door handles to light switches, to countertops on the regular, so I go through a bottle every few days to a week. I love this product and just had to share it with you!
