Remote Teaching Resources

Will your school district be teaching remotely, hybrid teaching, or full return to school? Our school district has decided after much deliberating to start school remotely. So, I started to research and buy some helpful items to make remote teaching so much better this time around.

Blue Blocking Glasses - I have a few cheap pairs of blue blocking glasses, but I decided to invest in a better pair. I bought this pair. Cute, right?

Standing Desk Holder for a Laptop - Most standing desks are so bulky and cumbersome. I found a great standing desk for laptops and bonus, it hardly takes up any room at all. It is also very well made and sturdy. My laptop won’t be falling anywhere.

Standing Desk Anti-Fatigue Mat - We stand pretty much the whole day at school and I stopped doing that once we went to remote learning in March. I’m going to start standing again for remote learning. This mat wobbles and keeps your legs, core, and body active to help improve focus, reduce fatigue, and relieve foot tension.

Posture Corrector - I found myself hunched over my laptop often when I was remote teaching, which is so bad for a myriad of reasons. I wanted to make an effort to improve my posture when sitting. Some of the back braces are so bulky and rather pricy, especially for the tech ones that sync to your phone. I decided to buy this one and it received great reviews.

Ring Light - Lighting is everything, am I right? I bought a ring light stand for when I am video conferencing. Let me tell you, it has made a world of difference. It has three light modes: warm, natural, and cool.

Hope that you also find these items helpful, too. Leave us a comment below on what items you have been loving for remote teaching.

Happy teaching!
