Our Favorite Black Owned Businesses: Snack Food Edition

Spooky fun writing activities for halloween.png

We recently wrote a post about supporting Black Owned businesses. We wanted to share some of our favorite Black Owned snack food and beverage companies that we just can’t get enough of right now.

Drinks:

Black Girl Magic Wines - The McBride Sisters have a sensational story to go with their sensational wines. Over time, the McBride Sisters have grown into what is not only the largest Black-owned wine company in the United States, but one of the most inclusive, accessible, socially aware, and sustainable.

BLK & Bold Coffee - BLK & Bold was founded by childhood friends Pernell Cezar and Rod Johnson, who grew up on the same block in Gary, Ind. You can find their coffee at Target. Grab a bag of whole beans next time you’re out shopping.

Snacks:

Pipcorn - is a women-owned, minority-owned, family business. They have several different popcorn products that all taste delish! Katy’s favorite is the Truffle flavored popcorn. Find these products at your local stores.

Partake Cookies - These cookies are amazing! And the best part? They are gluten free, vegan & allergy-friendly. These cookies are safe for Katy’s daughter to take to her nut free preschool, and they are delicious! Her family loves the chocolate chip cookies and the Birthday Cake cookies. Shop for them here.

What are your favorite snacks, foods, or beverages from Black Owned companies? Let us know on Twitter, Instagram, or email! Until next time teacher friends!

Bottoms up!
